A terrible night...

It was a terrible and cold winter night. I was lying on the sofa, under the blankets, I was hearing the radio while I looked at the fireplace... when suddenly I heard a door slam, and then I heard footsteps crossing the main hall of my lonely house.

A shiver toured all my body, starting in my neck until my feet. I looked to the dining room door, terrified. There I saw a man, with disfigured face, who held a bloody axe. I was paralyzed, looking at him. Then creeping up to me, he took the axe with his arms and he wanted to strike me. Of my gorge came out a loud cry, what disconcerted him.

That man was possessed, he was like a frightful beast who only wanted to kill. I continued fighting for my life, striking the air, I was trying to defend myself with my closed eyes.

Until, after some minutes, a cold hand grabbed my neck, leaving in the floor the cold touch of my corpse.

This photo was taken by my brother, Aleix, this summer. It shows my face, specially my eyes.

He took this photo while my dad, my mum, my brother and I were walking in a natural park, "Terra Nostra" in Furnas, the Azores, watching different types of plants and birds.
After getting there, we swam in a warm pool to rest for an hour.

In the picture you can't see very different things: behind my face there are some green plants, and the ground. At the center of the picture is my left eye.
But you can see all details of my face, freckles, spots, etc.

I chose this photo because I really like it.
I like its quality, the good graphics. I love what it expresses, the feelings dancing inside my way of looking...
I love it, because shows that I'm not perfect, and nobody is either. But the union of good things and imperfections in everybody, make all persons different.
